I’m a self-taught artist and for the past ten years I have been calling San Francisco home. I have started to draw from an early age, and realistic graphite portraits became my favorite medium. I loved how a blank page could be transformed under the magic of one pencil, and loved the simplicity of a black and white portrait. Inspired by the works of Rob Gonsalves, Vladimir Kush and Thomas Kinkade I took courage and added color into my life, and later on, the technologic advancements gave me the opportunity to experiment with new mediums. I have studied graphic design and multimedia communication in Italy, and for many years, I pursued a beautiful career that fully enriched my life. During the years, I had many wonderful collaborations with various artists, and my work was published in books and journals.

       I have an immense joy for art; I love to paint with the brush as much as I love to draw with words. I started to write as a form of mediation exercise, in which my daily gratefulness was expressed in the traditional Japanese three-line poem. Slowly, those daily haikus had become longer verse, then the flow of words metamorphosed into books. My poems were published in Contra Costa Times and Mainichi Daily Journal, and the books are sold on local bookstores.
